SUMMERSEAT PLAYERS
Summerseat Players is a thriving local theatre group run entirely by volunteers. The group is based in the Theatre Royal, situated right in the heart of Ramsbottom. It is easily accessible by public transport and there is plenty of parking in the town for those arriving by car.
On entry, the theatre’s rather plain 1930s façade reveals a warm and welcoming interior and the Lounge is a comfortable area in which to meet and enjoy a pre-show drink at the bar. The auditorium seats 204 people, with some wheelchair access and a loop system for the hard of hearing, and the upstairs Studio seats about 60 depending on the production, though without any wheelchair access.
