Becoming a member of Summerseat Players enables you to be covered by our insurance when on the premises, but it also means that, as an ‘active member’ you get to hear about the latest events, updates, as well as any play announcements, readings and castings, usually ahead of the general public.
Another benefit of being a member is that you can attend our regular 'Members Socials' - these events are typically free to members, and have included Pie, Peas & Poetry Nights, Open Mic nights, Quiz nights and our End of Season Wrap Party, amongst other things.
When you have been a member for a minimum of 3 consecutive years, this also entitles you to vote at our AGM, and once you have been a member for 25 years, you will be endowed with our coveted ‘Silver Pin’ and you then have free lifetime 'loyalty' membership! (You get an exclusive gold pin at 50 years membership!)
Finally, your membership fee helps to contribute to the ongoing growth, development and upkeep of our wonderful theatre.
The current annual membership fee is just £10 per person*. We kindly ask that membership fees are paid by 30th November annually.
*New to our 2024/5 Season - we are launching a small number of discretionary memberships if you would like to play your part but aren't able to do because of our fee
- please speak to our Membership Secretary or Chair to enquire
