Jane Eyre – Audition Notes

On Sunday 12 March, we were excited to hold our new 2023/4 Season Director’s Launch.  The event was really well attended by actors and volunteers and you can click the link to open the handout giving details of all the plays, with directors, audition and play dates – Season 2023-4

Our first ‘Monthly Members Social’ was held in January and featured a quiz based on Plays and Films.  Head to our Facebook page to see a few photos from the night and keep your eyes peeled for the next date.

Summerseat Players were deeply saddened to hear the news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She was a truly remarkable woman, whose devotion to duty and unity, sense of humour, and calm, reassuring nature served as an inspiration and example to us all. May she rest in peace.

On behalf of our Society, we convey our deepest sympathy to the Royal Family at this time of national mourning.

Throughout her lifetime, HM Queen Elizabeth II was a firm supporter and patron of Theatre and the Arts. Therefore, in accordance with guidance from the DCMS, SOLT and UK Theatre, we respectfully continued with our plans for re-opening, which were:
• Young Company first session – Saturday 10 September, 10am-12noon
• Box Office open for Season Ticket bookings and enquiries – Saturday 10 September, 12noon-2pm
• Directors Launch Night – Sunday 11 September, 7.30pm onwards
