In a deceptively simple domestic scene of rural tranquillity, two retired nuclear physicists invite a former friend and colleague to their isolated cottage, to catch up on the old days, only for dark recriminations to surface.
Against a background of a disaster at the local power station, she makes a frightening request which confronts the awful question of whether the legacy left by the baby-boomers is a world poisoned for the next generation. We may still listen to Radio 4, but do we really care?
A disturbing, dark comedy, which leaves you pondering some of the big issues.
