The Theatre Royal Ramsbottom is located at the corner of Smithy Street and Square Street, in the heart of Ramsbottom.

By Car

Parking in Ramsbottom can be limited, especially at busy times, so we recommend allowing extra time before your visit.

• The closest car park is located off Princes Street, best accessed by driving past Morrisons supermarket.
  This car park includes an electric vehicle charging point.

• Additional car parks can be found at:

  • Carr Street (near the library)

  • The Civic Hall

  • Ramsbottom Railway Station

  • The Market Place (limited spaces)

While Ramsbottom does not currently have general parking charges, time restrictions do apply in some supermarket and town centre car parks. Always check signage carefully.

Limited street parking is available around the theatre, but please be mindful of any local restrictions or permit zones, and always be respectful of our neighbours.

By Bus

Bus services 472 and 474 operate between Ramsbottom and Bury on a circular route via Walmersley and Holcombe Brook, running up to every 30 minutes.
