Volunteers

Get Involved: Volunteer at the Theatre Royal Ramsbottom
Summerseat Players are proud to deliver high-quality productions at the Theatre Royal Ramsbottom — and we simply couldn’t do it without our dedicated team of volunteers. We’re a volunteer-led, non-professional company, but we work to professional standards both on and off stage. From artistic roles to technical, admin, and customer-facing positions, there’s a place for everyone at the theatre. Whether you have specialist skills or just a passion for getting involved, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re Actively Recruiting Volunteers!

We are currently looking for support in the following areas:

  • Box Office

  • Wardrobe

  • Administrative Support

  • Website Designing

  • Technical Support – especially Sound Technicians (training provided)

  • Costume Makers / Seamstresses / Seamsters

  • Front of House Managers (training provided)

  • Or simply an extra pair of hands!

Whatever help you can offer will be extremely gratefully received

So, if you fancy doing something a bit different, something that people will appreciate, as well as meeting new people, being part of the community, getting stuck in and helping to keep Ramsbottom on the map, then please get in touch and send your details to info@summerseatplayers.co.uk, along with which areas of the theatre you are interested in.

Or, why not come along on a Tuesday or Sunday morning (from around 9.30am) and just introduce yourself.  We also have some occasional evenings working on sets.  Please pick up a membership form if you call in – head to our membership page for more details.
